The 2016 Chevrolet Camaro would have a turbocharged
four-cylinder engine, and the best interior any Camaro has ever seen.
Chevy promises 270 hp in its 2.0-liter, turbocharged inline-four, 335 hp
in its 3.6-liter, direct-injection V-6, and 455 hp from the 6.2-liter,
direct-injection V-8. The new Alpha platform, the same one that
underpins the Cadillac ATS,
is 28 percent stiffer than the old Zeta platform. There are also
significant suspension upgrades and a well-laid-out interior with vastly
better materials. Before now, the only Camaro that had the automatically adjusting Magnetic Ride Control dampering was the ZL1. Now it’s available on the SS. Also, in addition to the turbocharged four-cylinder engine, Chevy is trying to better fuel economy by offering cylinder deactivation in the V6 model for the first time. It’ll cut two cylinders when deemed unnecessary to help get better mileage.
However, Exterior styling, though new, would not posses a radical makeover but an evolutionary change from the previous version.
The 2016 Chevrolet Camaro would be out anytime soon, this Winter 2015 and may go for about $24,000 (est).
